Have you ever visited a public library or a particularly good bookstore that offers a book in a plain brown wrapper with just a few keywords printed on the outside (like, “Pet Dodos /Adventure /Fantasy /Mystery /Funny”)? That’s a Blind Date with a Book! You don’t know what title is inside until you’ve committed to checking it or buying it.
Similarly, we present “Blind Date with a [Drink]”. We started out with “Blind Date with a Gin” at Lakes of Fire 2016, brought it back the following year, and now in 2018, we were psyched to add “Blind Date with a Whisk(e)y” and “Blind Date with a Tea.”
Much as with any good blind date, we, the friends setting you up on this date, want you to have a good time at minimum, and at best, find a life-long companion. Our concierges might have asked you a few questions to see what drink might fit you best, or perhaps we just told you to trust the notes. We’re glad you came to check on that drink you found–hopefully you came here to ask it on a second date!
